Grammy Award winning singer, songwriter, Van Morrison, is set to bring his own distinctive blend of R & B, soul, Celtic influences and lyrical visionary to East Anglia this summer as he performs at Adnams Newmarket Nights.
Widely considered as one of the most important artists of our time and a true musical innovator, Van Morrison composer and hit recorder of such classic hits as Brown Eyed Girl, Have I Told You Lately, Bright Side of the Road and Moondance will headline at Newmarket Racecourses on Friday 3rd August 2012.
Gates open 2 1/2 hours before the first race, racing commences at approximately 6pm and finishes at approximately 9pm (during the latter part of the summer, these times become earlier). The concert commences approximately 20 minutes after the last race and last between 60-90mintues.
There is no reserved seating and viewing of this event is standing only.
