A celebration of Jonathan Miller’s phenomenal contribution to ENO. Over the last four decades Jonathan Miller’s stagings have been at the heart of ENO’s work. From his insightful Marriage of Figaro in 1978 to his charming and witty Elixir of Love in 2010, Jonathan has provided ENO with fifteen productions, many of them becoming staples of our repertoire. Only last year his classic productions of The Barber of Seville and The Mikado returned to our stage and, in February 2017, his legendary ‘Mafia’ production of Rigoletto will open our Spring season. Artists appearing on this night will include representatives from the original casts alongside the latest generation of performers to have benefitted from Miller‘s experience. For almost 40 years audiences at the Coliseum have been moved and entertained by Jonathan’s work. This is an opportunity to relive many of these wonderful moments while fundraising for ENO’s world-class work.
